Prof.Wei Kong

       Kong Wei, Distinguished Researcher of West Lake University (School of Engineering), Shell Energy Scholar. Got his Bachelor of Physics degree from Sun Yat-Sen University, Ph.D. of Electronic Engineering from Duke University. Carried out his Postdoctoral Research in Department of Mechanical Engineering of Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2020. In September 2020, he joined the School of Engineering of West Lake University as full-time researcher (Independent PI). Dr. Kong Wei has published papers in Science, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology and Nano Lett. as first author or corresponding author. His achievements have been reported by professional medias include Semiconductor Today, Science Daily, phys.org and MIT News. His research has received about 3.5 million US dollars grants from government agencies and industry in the United States in total. So far, related achievements have been transformed into seven international patents, which have been authorized to two American semiconductor companies for production.

       孔玮，西湖大学工学院特聘研究员，中山大学物理学专业获学士，杜克大学电子工程系获博士，2016-2020年在麻省理工学院机械工程系从事博士后研究，壳牌能源学者，2020年9月全职加入西湖大学工学院。孔玮博士曾以第一作者或通信作者身份在Science, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology，Nano Lett.等期刊发表论文，成果得到Semiconductor Today, Science Daily, phys.org, MIT News等多家专业媒体报道。学术成果曾在美国得到政府机构及工业界研究资助总额达350万美元。目前成果转化为七项国际专利，被两家美国半导体公司授权生产。
